Zowe, an open-source framework for mainframe management, has announced the release of its V3. The new version introduces a range of enhancements and new features aimed at improving the user experience and expanding the platform's capabilities.
Key features of the V3 release include a new Server Install Wizard for guided setup on Windows, Mac, or Linux, as well as upcoming containerization builds. The release also includes updates to the Zowe CLI, SDKs, and integrations for VSCode and IntelliJ.
Zowe is a project hosted by the Open Mainframe Project, a Linux Foundation project. The Zowe project's mission is to provide an open, extensible, and interoperable framework for mainframe modernization.
