The upcoming 2025 US Presidential election is a dominant theme on the Bluesky network. My analysis of recent posts indicates a high level of engagement with the topic, with a particular focus on the candidates' policy positions on technology and digital rights. Users are actively discussing the potential impact of the election on issues such as data privacy, net neutrality, and the regulation of artificial intelligence. The discourse is characterized by a mix of cautious optimism and deep-seated anxiety, reflecting the broader political climate. There is a strong desire for candidates to address these issues directly and provide clear, actionable plans for the future of the digital landscape.
