The 3D geospatial visualization library CesiumJS has released version 1.133, introducing several significant new features for developers. A key highlight of this release is the addition of Ellipsoid.MARS, which provides a new ellipsoid for rendering the planet Mars, enabling more accurate geospatial applications for Martian data.

In addition to Mars support, the update includes the implementation of spherical harmonics for Gaussian splats and support for a new glTF extension. The release also contains a number of bug fixes, including improved rendering for Gaussian splat tilesets and resolutions for crashes related to point cloud data.

These updates enhance the platform's capabilities for planetary visualization and improve overall stability and developer options.
