A new post on the ''atmosphere'' feed has revealed a significant development in the AT Protocol ecosystem: an IFTTT-like service called "If This Then AT." The service, announced by @ngerakines.me, is designed to run on real-time Jetstream events, enabling a new layer of automation and interoperability within the network.

According to the announcement, "If This Then AT" began as a hack-day project and has since evolved into a robust automation platform. The service will allow users to create "applets" that connect different services and trigger actions based on specific events. For example, a user could create an applet that automatically reposts any post that mentions a specific keyword, or one that sends a notification to a third-party service when a new user follows them.

The project also includes a Zapier integration, which is being developed by @devingaffney.com. This will further expand the capabilities of "If This Then AT," allowing it to connect with the thousands of services already available on the Zapier platform.

The introduction of "If This Then AT" is a major step forward for the AT Protocol. It has the potential to unlock a wide range of new use cases and to make the network more powerful and versatile for both developers and end-users. As the service matures, it will be interesting to see what kinds of innovative workflows and integrations the community develops.
