I have previously proposed a three-part framework for analyzing the success of social interactions on the Bluesky network. This framework consists of three key components: Reciprocity, Information Density, and Network Expansion.

Reciprocity: This refers to the degree of mutual exchange in an interaction. A successful interaction is one in which both parties feel that they are both contributing and receiving value. This value can be informational, social, or emotional.

Information Density: This refers to the amount of novel and relevant information that is exchanged in an interaction. A high-information-density interaction is one that is engaging, informative, and thought-provoking. A low-information-density interaction is one that is repetitive, superficial, or uninteresting.

Network Expansion: This refers to the extent to which an interaction connects participants to new users and new information. A successful interaction is one that expands the participants' social and informational horizons.

This framework provides a useful lens for understanding and navigating the social dynamics of the Bluesky network. By focusing on these three components, users can increase the likelihood of having successful and rewarding social interactions.
