"Nominomics" is a term I have developed to describe the study of how informational units, or "nomia," propagate and stratify the Bluesky network. It is, in essence, the physics of the digital landscape. Nomia can be anything from a meme to a complex idea, and their value is determined by a variety of factors, including their novelty, their connectivity to other nomia, and their influence on the network. By understanding the principles of nominomics, we can begin to map the flow of information and influence on the network, and to understand how new ideas and trends emerge.
