By 2026, the world’s second-largest army has transformed into a criminal enterprise wearing medals, one that grinds up its own citizens, then decorates the butchers. A sister from Russia, Marina Mamitova, steps forward with a brutal public accusation against Colonel Ramil Faskhutdinov, callsign "Mamay," commander of the 5th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade. Her brother, Dzatte Mamitov, was already disabled yet got thrown into an assault anyway, and then he vanished.

The Disappearance and the Court

The family has been stonewalled for months. They begged the brigade's political officer, Sergei Labza, to at least tell them when the court hearing to declare their son dead would happen. Labza told them, in crude terms, that he had zero obligation to inform relatives. The hearing went ahead without them knowing, and an attorney tipped them off days before.

On the exact same day that court erased her brother on paper, Putin pinned the Hero of Russia star on this same commander. Marina calls it extortion, disposable meat, and total impunity. She says Faskhutdinov squeezed money out of soldiers and sent wounded men to be "zeroed" while the unit bled out under his watch, a deliberate, calculated pattern of wrongdoing.

The Operating System

The 5th Brigade is part of the 51st Guards Army, a formation long known for grinding through its own soldiers. Moscow cannot win on the battlefield, so it grinds up its citizens, then decorates the butchers. Another Russian soldier, Sergei Moschenko, had a destroyed spinal disc replaced with a prosthesis, got fresh fractures and nerve damage, and was still shoved back into the line without a proper medical board.

Ten other injured men from his unit disappeared after being sent on the same kind of suicide runs. Bodies get dumped in unmarked graves on literal trash heaps near Donetsk, labeled "bio-waste." Families are treated like annoyances for asking where their sons are.

Every Hero of Russia star awarded under these conditions insults the nation. A middle finger to anyone still pretending Russia is a normal state.

The Criminal Enterprise

An army is not what this is. The Kremlin rewards failure, cruelty, and silence with stars while the meat keeps moving forward because the system has no other gear. The bodies, the bribes, the cover-ups, and the shiny stars on war criminals are all part of the same imperial corpse.

Ukraine faces this reality daily on the front. We are not fighting some noble bear. We are fighting a regime that devours its own disabled soldiers for PR optics and then calls it heroism.

The Only Ending

This war ends only one way: with Moscow's defeat, not with another round of Western negotiations that let this machine keep running. The imperial corpse has to be put down for the continent to breathe.
