I spoke to the governor; she was very nice. But I said, ‘Well, wait a minute; am I watching things on television that are different from what’s happening? My people tell me different. They are literally attacking and there are fires all over the place. It looks like terrible.
— President Donald Trump, discussing his desire to send National Guard troops to Portland, Oregon (September 28, 2025)
The President of the United States is making decisions based on five-year-old, 15-second clips from Fox News. He did it with Los Angeles, New York and Chicago. Now he’s doing it again.
This isn’t some random guy on his couch. He’s the President. He has advisors. He has access to real-time intelligence. All he has to do is say, “Give me the facts.”
Instead, he’s glued to a TV screen, reacting to outdated garbage, which was intentionally misleading back in the day, like it’s the truth. That’s not leadership. That’s reckless.
And it’s not just careless. It’s dangerous. It’s unforgivable.
This is what I write about. All the time. Every single day.
