Troops on American streets, again? Trump just ordered the military into Portland to defend ICE facilities, calling protesters ‘domestic terrorists.’

Stay with me for the next minute or so, I’ll break down what’s really happening and why this matters to every American watching.

I was sitting in my office scrolling through the news when the alert popped up. Portland, Oregon. The President said ICE facilities were ‘under siege’ and that he was sending troops with ‘full force’ to put down protests.

I thought, full force? What does that even mean on U.S. soil?

My chest tightened as I read the post. This wasn’t a late-night tweet, it was an order.

Then a colleague messaged me: ‘Did you see this? Are we about to see soldiers facing American citizens?’

Federal agencies claimed protesters attacked an ICE center and shared threats from a group labeled ‘domestic terrorists.’ Trump signed an executive order targeting Antifa, even though U.S. law doesn’t recognize any domestic terrorism designation.

For weeks, demonstrators in Portland have protested hard-line immigration policies. Now, active-duty troops may be facing those demonstrators in American streets.

And does this sound familiar?

Portland Mayor Keith Wilson blasted Trump and his administration, making it clear that city leaders never asked Washington for help. Here’s the bottom line: deploying the military inside the United States against civilians is a constitutional red flag. Whether you agree or disagree with the protests, ‘full force’ is a phrase no American should ignore.

Are you as worried as I am about what's going on? Is this about safety, politics, or something bigger?
