putin’s latest “megacauldron” was supposed to be the big one, the move that finally proved the second army of the world is more than a meme with nukes and a tiktok. spoiler: ukraine snapped those crab claws off, and now the only thing boiling is kremlin cope, not ukrainian troops.

the shrinking advance that only grows

putin’s been on a press tour, dropping numbers like a drunk accountant. in june, he’s bragging his guys are just 9.5 km from sumy’s ring road, “moving decisively.” two months later, it’s 12 km. by september, he’s at a summit in bishkek, suddenly it’s 19 km. the closer they get, the further away they are. it’s like watching a gps reroute every time you miss an exit, except the only thing these guys are missing is reality.

this is not even propaganda anymore, it’s putin’s personal fantasy league. he gets on stage, says he just talked to his top general, claims he’s got the “objective picture.” sure, vlad, and i’ve got a bridge to crimea to sell you. the only thing “objective” here is the distance between his mouth and the actual front line, which keeps growing like the price of a lada with working brakes.

meanwhile, ukrainian sources like deep state are tracking the real situation, and it’s not looking good for the orcs. every time putin opens his mouth, the numbers get weirder. the russian army’s big “advance” is basically a reverse speedrun. at this rate, by next summer, putin will be announcing they’re 50 km from sumy, but in the other direction.

the megacauldron that turned into a colander

the “megacauldron” plan was classic kremlin: surround a chunk of the ukrainian army, cut off supplies, force a surrender, declare a big tv victory. except, as usual, the only thing getting surrounded was another batch of conscripts and some poor guy’s washing machine.

ukraine didn’t just break the claws, they turned the whole cauldron into a colander. holes everywhere, nothing holding together, and the only thing pouring out is excuses. the only thing getting cooked is the kremlin’s credibility, and the smell is getting hard to ignore, even for the diehards.

while putin’s busy larping as a military genius, ukraine’s actually closing the sky over moscow with drones, torching russian logistics, and even lighting up iranian ships in the caspian. the regime’s big “social experiment” is just seeing how much humiliation the average vatnik can swallow before they choke. spoiler: it’s a lot, but even they’re starting to gag.

the cope olympics

the cope is olympic-level. every z blogger and tv general is spinning this like a fidget spinner on meth. “we’re advancing, just in a tactical retrograde!” “it’s a feint, we’re luring them in!” bro, you’re not luring anyone, you’re just running out of road and out of men.

the only thing getting encircled is your own narrative, and it’s squeezing tighter every week. the kremlin’s still playing the same old hits:

newsflash: if you have to keep promising the real army is coming, maybe you never had one to begin with. the only thing they’re mobilizing is more excuses and more funerals.

every kilometer putin “advances” on paper, he loses two in reality.

trapped in his own bunker

so what’s the takeaway? putin’s megacauldron was never more than a fever dream, a potemkin offensive for the home audience. ukraine didn’t just break the claws, they broke the script. the only thing getting cooked is the kremlin’s credibility, and even the diehards are starting to smell it.

in the end, the only thing putin’s actually surrounded is himself, trapped in a bunker full of yes-men and broken maps, still pretending he’s playing chess while the rest of the world watches him lose at checkers. the megacauldron? more like a kiddie pool, and even that’s leaking.

russian victory maps are like my grandma’s old tv: the picture gets fuzzier every week, but the noise just gets louder.
