day 1665 and the russian circus is still in town, but the clowns look like they need a nap and a new liver. ukraine’s poking at lyman again, generals are dropping faster than ruble value, and donetsk miners just figured out “liberation” means working for free while your boss zooms in from dubai. meanwhile, trump’s out here talking “n-rhetoric” like he’s scared to say the word, but the only thing radioactive is his brain.

lyman: the cope capital

russian telegram is in full meltdown, posting blurry drone clips and calling every ukrainian push a “trap.” sure, and i’m the tsar of all russias. every time ukraine sneezes near the front, the vatniks start screaming about nato, biolabs, and how their latest general “heroically died at his post.” translation: caught a himars to the face while scrolling vk.

the excuses for dead officers are getting creative. “he slipped,” “he was betrayed,” “nato ghost missile.” at this point, the russian army’s biggest threat is gravity and friendly fire. the only thing moving faster than the front line is the speed at which generals get turned into funko pops.

the russian army’s officer corps is starting to look like a limited edition funko pop collection - rare, collectible, and mostly for show.

donetsk miners: welcome to the russian world

donetsk miners are finally getting loud. turns out, “russian world” means unpaid wages, busted gear, and a boss who calls in from a yacht. the kremlin’s answer? ship in riot cops and blame “ukrainian saboteurs.” classic playbook: deny, deflect, distract, declare victory, repeat.

moscow only cares about donbas when there’s a camera or a new batch of cannon fodder to draft. the rest of the time, you’re on your own. enjoy your “liberation,” hope you like eating wallpaper paste and getting paid in exposure.

the miners are just now learning what the rest of russia figured out ages ago: the regime will rob you blind and tell you it’s for your own good. the only thing trickling down is the excuses.

dead generals and the funko pop army

i’ve lost track of how many times russian media has announced the “irreparable loss” of some guy with more medals than working tanks. every time, it’s the same: solemn music, a photo from 1987, and a statement about “fulfilling his duty.” translation: got sent to the front to yell at conscripts, caught a drone strike for his trouble.

the only thing these guys lead is the retreat. the officer corps is now a collector’s item, and the only thing rarer than a living general is a working logistics chain. the regime keeps announcing “heroic deaths” like it’s a lottery, except the prize is a closed casket and a telegram post.

trump auditions for cold war 2: electric boogaloo

trump’s out here calling nuclear threats “n-rhetoric” like he’s scared putin will show up in his mirror. he’s promising “deals” and “compromises” that sound a lot like “give russia whatever it wants and call it peace.” his crew is lining up to “negotiate” in moscow and kyiv, which means selfies, caviar, and telling everyone “putin wants peace” while the bombs keep falling.

every time trump opens his mouth about ukraine, you can hear the kremlin’s pr team popping champagne. the only thing missing is him calling zelensky “my favorite comedian.” if you think this guy’s got a plan, i’ve got a bridge in crimea to sell you, slightly used, may explode without warning.

russian diplomats at the un are quoting american senators and whining that europe is trying to “infect trump with russophobia.” yeah, because the real problem is trump might notice the smell coming from the russian side of the table.

kremlin tv: the world’s worst soap opera

the kremlin’s whole game is to keep the west arguing with itself while they loot whatever’s left of their own country. they talk about “multipolarity” and “sovereignty” while their own people are lining up for sugar and their oligarchs are buying villas in cyprus. if you believe their line about “standing up to the west,” you probably think the donetsk miners are on strike for better borscht.

every nato summit, russian state media goes into overdrive about “desperate attempts to keep america in the alliance.” the only thing desperate is the kremlin’s hope someone will take their threats seriously. they wave the nuclear stick every time they lose a town, but everyone knows the real danger isn’t a mushroom cloud, it’s a bored russian pilot bombing his own base.

the only thing russia’s nukes are deterring is investment. the regime threatens the world every tuesday and delivers two dead conscripts and a stolen washing machine.

russian economy: running on fumes and fairy tales

back home, the russian economy is a meme. import substitution means “buy chinese and scratch off the label.” sanctions didn’t collapse the place overnight, but they did turn “made in russia” into a punchline and “export” into “smuggle it through kazakhstan.” the only thing growing is the list of banned imports and the number of people trying to leave.

the russian dream is now a lada that starts and a neighbor who hasn’t been mobilized yet. the only thing more valuable than a working car is a passport with a visa stamp.

laundering war crimes and selling patriotism

the kremlin’s favorite hobby is laundering war crimes through state tv. every atrocity gets spun as “ukrainian provocation” or “nato plot.” but the stains keep showing up in un reports, and no amount of propaganda bleach is going to scrub them out.

the regime robs its own people blind and calls it patriotism. the only thing they’re building is a bigger wall between reality and whatever’s playing on channel one. if you’re still buying what the kremlin’s selling, you probably think the donetsk miners are on strike for better borscht.

so here we are, day 1665, and nothing’s changed except the excuses. ukraine’s still fighting, russia’s still lying, and the west is still arguing about how many tanks to send. the only thing moving faster than the front line is the speed at which russian propaganda eats its own tail.

the clowns are still running the show, but the tent’s on fire and the audience is heading for the exits. anyway, i’ll be here, collecting vatnik cope like pokémon cards and waiting for the next general to “heroically” trip over a drone. stay tuned, the circus isn’t leaving town yet.

russian victory parade this year: two riot cops, a broken lada, and a general’s portrait taped to a drone.
