Flamingo missile just turned a Russian chemical plant into a modern art

russian chemical plant gets the flamingo treatment, turns into a modern art piece, and the only thing more toxic than the smoke is kremlin tv’s cope. the “no smoking” sign survived, probably radioactive now, but hey, at least it’s not unionized. welcome to the new russian industrial revolution: everything burns, nothing works, and the only thing getting produced is excuses.

flamingo season: ukraine’s bird-brained arsenal

ukraine’s on a heater, and not just with the memes. flamingo missiles, firepoint drones, whatever bird-themed hardware they’re cooking up next, if it flies, it’s about to make some russian oligarch’s insurance agent cry. this week, volgograd’s chemical plant got the full “special operation” experience. satellite pics show the main workshop looking like a toddler’s jenga tower, and that’s not just any building. these places crank out the stuff that keeps russia’s war machine rolling: fuel additives, explosives, plastics, rubber for tires, all the bits you need to turn a pile of scrap into a tank that might start on the third try.

and it’s not just volgograd. samara’s chemical plants got lit up too. one makes half the country’s caprolactam (that’s the stuff that ends up in nylon, which ends up in military gear), the other does synthetic rubber for tires and gear. you can’t drive a tank on vibes and propaganda, but they’re trying. every time a drone hits one of these places, it’s not just a fire, it’s a supply chain aneurysm. no rubber, no tires. no tires, no tanks. no tanks, no “second army of the world,” just a bunch of guys in camo hitchhiking to the front.

you can’t propaganda your way out of a fuel shortage or a crater where your chemical plant used to be.

warehouse inferno: ozon and wildberries get smoked

ozon’s warehouses are getting torched so often they should just list “fire hazard” as a business model. four distribution centers gone, ten thousand jobs up in smoke, and the stock price doing the limbo. wildberries is basically a memory at this point, just a ghost in the group chat. every time ukraine pauses the strikes, it’s just so some vip can visit without getting a free fireworks show. the second they leave, it’s back to business, by which i mean more flaming debris and another press release about “temporary difficulties.”

russian logistics is now a game of whack-a-mole, except the moles are on fire and the only prize is a pink slip. the regime’s answer? blame “western sabotage” and promise everything’s under control, right before the next warehouse goes up like a roman candle.

oil refineries: drone season never ends

ukraine’s drones are hitting russian oil refineries like it’s a bonus round in a video game. saratov, slavyansk-na-kubani, tatarstan, doesn’t matter if it’s 300 or 1100 kilometers from the border, if it’s got a smokestack, it’s on the list. russians are stacking shipping containers around their refineries now, like that’s gonna stop a drone that can drop out of the sky like a pissed-off pigeon. spoiler: it won’t. the only thing those containers are protecting is the local scrap metal dealer’s retirement plan.

so what’s the result? gas lines in st. petersburg that look like a black friday sale for people who hate walking. folks waiting all night for a few liters, delivery services charging more than a week’s salary, and the only thing moving fast is the rumor mill. russia’s got a fuel shortage, but their big brain move is to blow up every gas station in ukraine. it’s like setting your neighbor’s house on fire because you can’t pay your own heating bill.

mobilization denial and front line meat grinder

while all this is going on, medvedev’s out here swearing there’s no mobilization coming, pinky promise, definitely not, ignore the billboards and the draft notices and the fact that half the country’s young men are suddenly “on vacation” in kazakhstan. every time the regime says “no mobilization,” you can bet they’re about to invent a crisis and start handing out rifles to anyone with a pulse and a clean criminal record (optional).

on the front, russian losses are so bad they’re getting their own highlight reels. two minutes and thirty seconds of “here’s what happens when you sign up for the world’s worst temp job.” most of these guys got a week of training, a rusty ak, and a one-way ticket to drone country. the only thing more consistent than the casualties is the regime’s ability to pretend it’s all going according to plan.

economy on fire, exports in the gutter

russia’s shadow fleet is getting torched, grain exports are tanking, and farmers are staring at full silos and empty bank accounts. the only thing russia’s exporting reliably these days is guys running for the border and excuses for why nothing works. but hey, at least they’re still world-class at bombing ukrainian apartment buildings. eleven dead, ninety-six wounded, and the only “denazification” happening is the one in their own heads.

meanwhile, ukraine’s running out of interceptors because russia’s cranking out 140 ballistic missiles a month. nato standards say you need two interceptors per missile, but good luck getting 280 patriots a month when the us can barely scrape together 100. zelensky’s out here begging for more, but the west moves at the speed of paperwork. meanwhile, ukraine’s building its own missiles, flamingo, pelican, krechet, because if you want something blown up right, you gotta do it yourself.

global chaos, local clown show

all this is happening while the global oil market’s on fire, the red sea’s closed, the strait of hormuz is closed, and the only people making money are the guys selling jerry cans and black market diesel. american truckers are pissed, trump’s blaming ukraine for the diesel crisis (because why not), and the only thing more cooked than the russian economy is the logic on fox news.

so what’s the takeaway? russia’s getting clapped on every front that matters. their factories burn, their refineries explode, their warehouses collapse, their soldiers vanish, and their leaders lie like it’s a competitive sport. the only thing they’re building faster than excuses is unemployment lines. but don’t worry, they’ll tell you it’s all part of the plan, right up until the last lada runs out of gas and the last conscript runs out of luck.

meanwhile, ukraine’s still standing, still fighting, still roasting the world’s most overrated army with a bunch of diy drones and missiles named after birds. the regime can spin it all they want, but you can’t propaganda your way out of a fuel shortage or a crater where your chemical plant used to be. at this point, the only thing more inevitable than another missile strike is another round of vatnik cope. and i’ll be here, popcorn in hand, watching the circus burn down one flamingo at a time.

russian victory parade this year is just a guy with a jerry can, a burnt tire, and a powerpoint about how it’s all nato’s fault.
