every time the kremlin gets bored, they roll out the same bedtime story: europe is tired, the west will ditch ukraine any minute, just wait. two years later, europe is still there, still sending cash and tanks, and the only thing collapsing is the ruble. spoiler: the only thing europe is tired of is hearing this cope on repeat.

the fantasy of western fatigue

the kremlin loves to act like europe is one cold snap away from crawling to putin for gas, but thats just projection with a side of delusion. yeah, energy prices spiked, people grumbled, but if you think a frenchman rioting over baguettes means hes ready to kiss the ring in moscow, you have never met a frenchman. europeans complain for sport, not surrender.

russian state tv acts like every protest or poll is the start of the apocalypse. some farmer in saxony is mad about prices? must mean berlin is about to hand over kyiv. a dutch trucker whines about fuel? clearly, nato is finished. meanwhile, actual governments keep signing off on new aid, more weapons, and fresh sanctions. even hungary, the kremlins favorite troll, cant block the flow. if your last hope is orbán, you are already in the gutter.

the only thing running out in europe is patience for kremlin bullshit.

receipts dont lie, but kremlin math does

lets talk numbers, because russian propaganda treats math like a rumor. the eu and its members have sent tens of billions in military, financial, and humanitarian aid to ukraine. not a one-off, not pocket change. every time ukraine needs more shells, more air defense, more cash to keep the lights on, the money shows up. sometimes it takes a few weeks of arguing, but the end result is always more support, not less.

meanwhile, russias "friends" are sending:

congrats, you built the saddest coalition on earth. the kremlin keeps promising the west will fold, but the only thing folding is the ruble and the draft dodgers running for the border.

the myth of the secret pro-putin masses

another kremlin classic: "the people" of europe are just waiting to overthrow their governments and install team z. sure, buddy. the same people who watched russian tanks roll into bucha and mariupol are dying to vote for the guys with the looting olympics. maybe in the fever dreams of russian telegram, but not in any country with actual news.

even the far-right and far-left parties that flirt with kremlin talking points cant get real traction on "lets abandon ukraine and trust putin." turns out, watching your neighbor get invaded by a bunch of looters with soviet flags is not a winning campaign slogan.

self-preservation is not charity

heres the real reason europe is not about to bail: self-preservation. this is not charity, its insurance. europeans know if ukraine falls, the next russian "special operation" could be in the baltics, poland, or moldova. nobody wants wagner guys camping in their backyard.

for the price of some tanks and ammo, europe keeps the war outside the eus borders and watches the russian army bleed out in a cornfield. if you think theyll give that up because some pensioners are mad about heating bills, you have never met a european finance minister.

democracy is not division

does this mean europe is all in, all the time, with zero doubts? hell no. they argue, they hand-wring, they debate. thats democracy, not weakness. in europe, you can complain without getting a 3am knock on the door. russians see this and think its division, because they have never seen an argument that doesnt end in handcuffs.

but the aid keeps flowing, the sanctions keep biting, and the only thing collapsing is the kremlins own house. back in russia, the regime is so confident its building new prisons, tightening censorship, and drafting anyone with a pulse. the brain drain is so bad half of moscows it crowd is working from tbilisi or yerevan. the only thing more mobile than russian conscripts is russian capital, and both are sprinting for the border.

the cope parade rolls on

next time you see a z-channel crowing about "europe is tired, the west will abandon ukraine," remember: these are the same guys who said kyiv would fall in three days, that sanctions would boomerang, and that the world would beg for russian oil by christmas. they have been wrong about everything except their own ability to cope.

europeans might grumble, argue, even protest, but when it comes to helping ukraine, they are not stopping. the kremlin can keep telling bedtime stories, but the only ones falling asleep are the guys waiting for europe to quit.

russian propaganda: europe is tired, the west will fold. reality: the only thing folding is the kremlins map, and they are running out of tape.
