limansk meltdown day 1664, and the z crowd is foaming at the mouth like their favorite washing machine just got drafted. the only thing moving faster than the front line is how quick russian telegram channels flip yesterday’s “victory” into today’s “strategic regrouping.” liman’s supposed to be the new stalingrad, but the only thing getting encircled is the narrative, and even that’s leaking out the sides.

liman: the cope capital

ukrainian troops are pushing under liman, but kyiv’s official line is “wait for the receipts.” meanwhile, the russian z-blogs are in their usual clown car: one day it’s “we’re advancing,” next day it’s “that was just a weather balloon, actually the real fight is spiritual.” the “dva mayora” channel, which sounds like a sitcom but is just two dudes larping as colonels, finally admitted the official story about krasny liman was, shocker, total bullshit. the only thing advancing is the cope.

the z crowd is in full meltdown mode. not even pretending anymore. it’s all “betrayal,” “where’s the ammo,” “why is my cousin still in a trench with a mosin,” “who let the ukrainians have drones,” and “why does every map look like a jackson pollock painting in blue and yellow.” best part is watching them try to square “we’re winning” with “please send socks.” it’s like a guy insisting his house isn’t on fire while roasting marshmallows in the living room.

russian general gets smoked, again. at this point, generals are like limited edition funko pops: collect them all, but don’t get attached, they’re gone by next week. the regime doesn’t even bother with the “heroic sacrifice” line anymore, just a quick mention, then back to “nato is to blame.” the only thing more common than dead generals is the number of times they’ve “destroyed all the leopards” for the tenth time this month.

ukraine’s dirty laundry, russian projection

over in ukraine, prosecutor general kravchenko drops a midnight video, throws shade at nabu and sap, says they stole files, then bounces out of the country faster than a russian oligarch with a yacht sale. the z crowd is loving it, screaming “see, ukraine is corrupt!” like they didn’t just have their own defense minister caught with a villa in cyprus and a fridge full of caviar. kravchenko claims the president blocked him from signing off on charges, then dips before the paperwork even dries. zelensky calls for his resignation, kravchenko says “sure, soon,” then ghosts everyone. classic.

let’s not pretend this is some “gotcha” for the kremlin. ukraine’s dirty laundry is out in public because, wild concept, they have actual investigations and journalists. in russia, the only time you hear about a prosecutor running is when he’s sprinting to the border with a suitcase full of bribes, and even then, the news is “he’s on vacation.” the z crowd points at ukrainian scandals like it’s proof of moral decay, but in russia, the only thing that decays faster is the infrastructure.

meanwhile, the russian front is a game of musical chairs, except every time the music stops, another general is missing and the chairs are on fire. z bloggers are in full panic, blaming everyone from shoigu to the weather to the “fifth column.” the only thing they won’t blame is the fact that the army is held together with duct tape, lies, and the promise of a free microwave if you survive the rotation.

home front: shortages and excuses

back home, leningrad region is running out of gas. the governor goes on tv, tells everyone to “be patient,” then admits his own daughters can’t get fuel - one’s stuck at home, the other spent two hours in line. that’s the russian dream: your own family can’t get to work, but at least you’re “standing up to nato.” the authorities are “considering solutions,” which is code for “maybe we’ll steal some from belarus, maybe we’ll just lie about it, maybe we’ll blame the poles.” pick a card, any card.

why the gas shortage? ukrainian drones keep lighting up russian oil depots like it’s new year’s eve. every time a refinery goes up, the z crowd insists it’s “minor damage,” then two days later, the governor’s on tv begging people to carpool. the only thing more flammable than russian oil is the regime’s ego.

front line comedy: russian troops shooting at each other over a drone, because nothing says “second army of the world” like a friendly fire brawl in a trench. motostrelki open up on a dugout full of their own paratroopers, paratroopers shoot back, one dead, three wounded, and the only winner is the drone operator who got it all on video. this is the army that was supposed to take kyiv in three days. now they can’t even take a piss without checking if the guy next to them is on their side.

losses, prisons, and the economy circling the drain

the losses? off the charts. russian advances have basically stopped, unless you count “advancing backwards.” us intel doesn’t even trust putin’s own generals to tell him the truth anymore. gerasimov feeds him whatever makes the boss happy, and the boss is still living in a world where “special operation” means anything except “meat grinder.” the only thing moving forward is the casualty list.

russia’s got 2,442 ukrainian pows and civilian hostages on trial, 1,717 already sentenced, and 860 cases of “bad conditions” reported. russia refuses to let international monitors in, because if anyone saw the inside of those prisons, the only thing more shocking than the conditions would be the smell. but sure, tell me again about “nazi ukraine.”

back in the rear, the russian economy is doing its best impression of a jenga tower in an earthquake. sanctions biting, oil exports down, the ruble’s got less value than a z blogger’s military analysis. wildberries, the amazon of russia, is having “giant problems,” which is code for “we can’t deliver your knockoff adidas because the warehouse is on fire.” the only thing more unstable than the supply chain is the regime’s grip on reality.

nuclear blackmail, fake referendums, and the undefeated reality

the z crowd is coping so hard it’s a full-time job. every day is a new excuse:

meanwhile, the only thing coming is another round of mobilization and another batch of conscripts who thought they were signing up for a desk job and ended up in a trench with a shovel and a prayer.

the “nuclear card” gets waved every time russia loses a town. tv clowns start threatening the world like it’s a magic wand. “we could destroy the world!” sure, buddy, but you can’t even keep your own gas stations open. the only thing you’re nuking is your own future. the rest of the world just rolls its eyes and stocks up on popcorn.

referendums? every time ukraine takes back a village, the z crowd insists “the people voted to join russia!” yeah, they voted at gunpoint, then voted with their feet as soon as the front line moved. the only thing more fake than those referendums is the turnout numbers. ninety-nine percent in favor, and the other one percent is “missing.”

the only thing they’re fighting is reality, and reality is undefeated.

so what’s the real story? russia’s war machine is running on fumes, both literally and figuratively. generals dropping like flies, z bloggers eating each other alive, economy circling the drain, and the only thing the regime exports is excuses and guys running for the border. ukraine’s got its own mess, but at least they air it out in public. in russia, the only thing that gets aired out is the propaganda, and even that’s starting to stink.

the z crowd can scream all they want about liman, about “betrayal,” about “fifth columns” and “nato plots.” the front line keeps moving the wrong way, the generals keep dying, the fuel keeps running out, and the only thing left is cope.

day 1664, and the only thing more hysterical than the z crowd is the idea that any of this is going to end well for them. they started this war promising to take kyiv in three days. now they’re begging for socks, losing generals, and watching their own propaganda eat itself alive. the only thing left is to point and laugh, because if you don’t, you’ll cry. and trust me, the regime hates laughter more than anything.

russian victory is when the last guy out turns off the lights and blames nato for the electric bill
