Day 1668 in the “three-day war” and the only thing Russia’s blitzed

day 1668 of the three-day war and the only thing ruzzia’s blitzed is its own gas stations. putin’s surrounded, gas is $3 a liter, ukraine’s dropping missiles on russian oil refineries, and kremlin tv is still out here selling “victory” like it’s a used lada with three wheels and a prayer. spoiler: the only thing getting denazified is the ruble.

putin’s “siege” is just him yelling at the wallpaper

russian propaganda loves to paint the us as the evil puppet master, but right now it’s less “siege” and more “putin locked himself in a bunker, screaming at the walls while his oligarchs google flights to dubai.” sanctions are stacking up like empty vodka bottles after a z-blogger livestream, and the regime’s big counter is to whine about “russophobia” while their own elite sneak out the back door.

the us and its allies boxed ruzzia in so tight even the kremlin’s favorite yacht collectors can’t find a loophole big enough to squeeze through. the only thing getting out of moscow these days is excuses and the occasional billionaire with a fake passport. meanwhile, the regime’s best move is to blame the west for everything from gas prices to the weather, because god forbid anyone blames the guys actually running the place.

putin’s not surrounded by nato, he’s surrounded by his own bullshit and a mountain of empty promises.

the “energy superpower” can’t fill its own tanks

inside the fortress, the russian economy is doing its best lada-in-january impression: sputtering, leaking, and refusing to start. gas prices just hit a new record, and not the fun kind. according to gde benzin, ai-95 is missing from over half the gas stations in major cities, ai-92 is vanishing too. imagine being the world’s biggest gas station and running out of gas. that’s like mcdonald’s running out of fries because the manager sold the potatoes to buy a gold toilet.

businesses are closing, truck fleets are parking up and firing drivers, and the only thing moving fast is the ruble, straight down. the regime’s answer? blame the west, blame ukraine, blame the weather, blame the dog. state tv is working overtime to convince babushkas that empty shelves and $3-a-liter gas are just proof of their “spiritual strength.” the only thing spiritual about it is how many people are praying their car makes it to payday.

battlefield: russian hardware turned confetti, z-bloggers in denial

on the front, it’s another day, another batch of russian hardware turned into confetti. three planes and a helicopter got smoked, courtesy of ukrainian forces who apparently didn’t get the memo that ruzzia already “won” last year. the 66th separate mechanized brigade just ran “operation vivaldi” north of lyman and made the orcs hit those high notes on their way out.

russian losses in manpower and gear keep stacking up, but z-bloggers are still out here posting “strategic withdrawals” like anyone’s buying it. at this point, the only thing more inflated than their kill counts is their sense of reality. every ukrainian missile strike is “nato involvement” because the idea that ukraine could actually fight back is too much for their brains to handle.

missile strikes, refinery fires, and the myth of “untouchable” russia

remember when the kremlin said ukraine would never dare hit russian soil? yeah, about that. ukrainian drones and missiles are now regular guests at russian oil refineries, airfields, and logistics hubs. taneko in tatarstan, bashneft in ufa, terminals in krasnodar, one by one, the “untouchable” targets are getting touched. hard.

satellite photos don’t lie, even if russian tv does. every time a refinery goes up, that’s another reason for the gas crisis, but don’t expect the regime to admit it. they’d rather say it was “spontaneous combustion” or “ukrainian weather sabotage.” meanwhile, russian strikes on ukraine keep killing civilians and torching infrastructure. the only thing precise about their “precision strikes” is their ability to hit apartment blocks and grain silos.

elections, microchips, and the russian dream: cope in a bottle

back home, it’s election season, aka the regime’s favorite circus. three days of voting for the duma and regional parliaments, and the only thing more rigged than the ballot boxes is the turnout. in altai krai, election commissions are adding people to the “vote from home” lists without even asking. activists are cold-calling voters to make sure they “participate.” it’s not democracy, it’s a hostage situation with extra paperwork.

meanwhile, the russian military is still hunting for western microchips to keep their missiles flying. “import substitution” means “buy it on aliexpress and pray it works.” the kinzhal hypersonic missile, the pride of the kremlin, is running on american chips because russian ones can’t hack it. every time they shoot one, it’s basically a flying sanctions violation.

and the brain drain? every time the regime tightens the screws, another wave of young, educated russians bounces to armenia, georgia, or anywhere with wi-fi and fewer fsb agents. the only thing ruzzia exports more than oil these days is its own people running from conscription and poverty. the “russian dream” is now a lada that starts and a neighbor who’s even more broke than you.

the big picture: a superpower in freefall

russia’s “special operation” is now a full-blown disaster, at home and abroad. the economy’s tanking, the military’s bleeding, the propaganda’s running on fumes, and the only thing the regime can promise is more of the same. every new “victory” is just another excuse for why nothing ever gets better except the number of graves and the price of gas.

ukraine’s not just holding out, they’re hitting back, hard. russian territory is no longer safe, russian skies are full of holes, and russian voters are being herded to the polls like cattle to keep the illusion alive. the regime’s answer to every crisis is more lies, more repression, and more magical thinking. but you can’t gaslight your way out of a fuel shortage, and you can’t bomb your way to a functioning economy.

day 1668, and the only thing “surrounded” is putin, boxed in by his own failures, his own lies, and a world that’s finally stopped pretending he’s some kind of chess master. the only thing left to export is excuses, and even those are running out. maybe next week they’ll blame the gas crisis on nato-trained raccoons. wouldn’t be the dumbest thing they’ve tried.

russian victory parade this year is just a guy with a jerry can, a broken drone, and a sign that says “will invade for gas.”
