Day 1668 in the Kremlin’s “three-day war” and Putin’s still playing Risk

putin said three days, its been 1668 and hes still stuck on the tutorial. the only thing moving fast in ruzzia is the price of gas, and the us is camping his spawn so hard hes googling respawn timers. welcome to the kremlin clown show, now with extra fuel shortages.

sanctions biting, ruble diving

the big vatnik headline is “the us has besieged putin,” which is cope for “sanctions hit so hard even oligarchs are learning to love ramen.” this isnt just think tank nerd stuff, its moscow gas stations with tumbleweeds and youtube tutorials on how to siphon your neighbor’s lada. the ruble’s doing bungee jumps, and the regime’s grip on reality is even shakier.

every time the west tightens the screws, another russian business closes and another babushka wonders why her pension buys half a loaf. the regime blames everyone but themselves, because admitting “invading your biggest customer” was dumb is apparently harder than finding ai-95 at the pump.

the only thing more unstable than the ruble is the regime’s grip on reality

gas crisis: energy superpower my ass

remember when kremlin tv bragged about “energy superpower” status? now half the country cant find ai-95, and ai-92 is missing from most big city stations. import substitution, they said. turns out you cant run a petrostate on vibes and soviet nostalgia.

businesses are shutting down, truck fleets are getting mothballed, and the only thing flowing is vodka at the “going out of business” parties. the regime’s answer is to blame the west, ukraine, the weather, or the alignment of mars. anyone but the guys who thought “lets bomb our best customer” was a galaxy brain move.

ukraine hits back, kremlin leaks excuses

while ruzzia’s busy rationing gas, ukraine’s making the “second army of the world” look like a yard sale. three planes and a helicopter got turned into scrap, and that was just the warmup. ukraine’s drones are hitting oil refineries in tatarstan, terminals in krasnodar, power substations, you name it. every time a refinery goes up, the gas crisis gets worse.

russian air defense is so leaky you’d think lada engineers designed it. every drone strike is another episode of “whose refinery is burning this week,” and every z blogger screaming “counteroffensive stalled” gets drowned out by the sound of another village swapping out the tricolor for blue and yellow.

fake elections, real fraud

dont worry, the regime’s got a plan: more fake elections. its voting season, which means three days of ballot stuffing, dead grandmas voting from the grave, and local officials “helpfully” adding you to the home voting list. even the communist party is calling out the fraud, which is like the pot calling the kettle a ballot box stuffer.

the only thing more rigged than these elections is the wiring in a russian apartment. as long as the right faces win and tv says turnout was “record high,” nobody cares if half the country is too busy queuing for gas to show up.

economy in freefall, regime in denial

back home, the russian economy is tanking. restaurants are closing, transport companies are laying off drivers, and the only thing growing is the banned imports list and the line at the border. the regime’s answer? more mobilization drills, more “patriotic” tv, more promises that victory is just around the corner. spoiler: its not.

the only thing around the corner is another round of sanctions and another oligarch’s yacht getting repo’d in cyprus. the regime keeps selling greatness while you crap in a hole in the yard, and the wild part is people clap.

war crimes on rinse cycle, brain drain on turbo

russian state tv runs the war crimes laundry 24/7. every missile strike on a ukrainian city gets spun as “demilitarization” or “precision,” but the reality is burned-out warehouses, dead civilians, and a growing pile of evidence for the hague. propaganda cant bleach out bloodstains, no matter how many times they rerun the same tired scripts.

meanwhile, the brain drain is a stampede. anyone with a diploma, a passport, and a pulse is looking for the exit. the only thing ruzzia exports faster than oil is its own people. the tech boom’s in kyiv, not moscow, and the only innovation left is new ways to dodge sanctions and fake election results.

so yeah, day 1668 and putin’s still promising victory by friday, but the only thing he’s taking is another L. the us is squeezing, ukraine’s striking back, the economy’s tanking, and the regime’s best idea is to fake another election and hope nobody notices the country’s running on fumes. “energy superpower” cant keep the lights on, “second army” cant keep its planes in the air, and the only thing truly record-breaking is the cope on kremlin tv. pass the popcorn, this circus isnt leaving town.

every russian victory gets announced from a town 600 km from the town they actually lost. those maps are doing serious cardio.
