first up, the classic “election fraud” panic. weidel’s out here spinning tales about a senior home in dessau supposedly voting on behalf of a 95-year-old with dementia, like germany’s democracy is hanging by a thread and the thread is made of absentee ballots. never mind that the actual sources and fact-checkers show the system has more safeguards than a russian oligarch’s dacha. but why let reality get in the way of a good scare story?

and dont even get me started on the crime panic. weidel’s feed is a greatest hits album of “foreigners are scary” stats, ripped out of context and glued together with just enough innuendo to get the base frothing. “syrians and afghans are x times more likely to be suspects!” she shouts, skipping over little details like demographics, reporting bias, or the fact that being a suspect isnt the same as being guilty.

its the same energy as those russian “referendums” where 99 percent of people supposedly vote for annexation, if you control the narrative, who needs the truth? the only landslide here is in the imagination.

what’s wild is how consistent the pattern is. not a single claim stands up as just “false” or “true” - its all manipulation, all the time. thats not an accident, thats a business model. the goal isnt to inform, its to keep the base angry, scared, and convinced that only weidel and her crew can save them from the apocalypse shes busy inventing.
