Every time I see some Russian talking head whining about “Ukrainian MPs

every time a russian pundit starts whining about “ukrainian mps ending the war soon,” you know its cope hour on state tv. like yeah, the rada is gonna roll up to the front and hand putin a peace treaty, right after they finish voting for more sanctions and maybe a new flag. meanwhile, back in the real world, the only thing ending quick is the shelf life of russian logistics and the patience of their own cannon fodder.

bridge attacks and kremlin panic

lets talk bridges, because the kremlin is obsessed. not because theyre tactical masterminds, but because theyre running out of ideas and bodies. every time ukraine smacks a russian ammo train or blows up a supply route, moscow has to yank troops off the front just to babysit their own trucks. russian propagandists are crying about “not enough men,” and its not just because half the army is busy looting washing machines. ukraines drone shopping spree turned every russian supply run into a lottery, and the prize is a one-way trip to valhalla.

so what does ruzzia do? they go after bridges, especially in kyiv, hoping to mess up civilian life, cause traffic jams, and freak people out. the plan is to make daily life so annoying that ukrainians just pack up and leave, tanking the economy and making it easier for russia to grab territory. classic kremlin logic, if you cant win on the battlefield, try to win by making everyone else miserable. too bad for them, ukrainians are stubborn as hell, and every bridge they hit just gets patched up or replaced with a pontoon before the next air raid siren even stops.

optics over strategy

heres the real kicker, these bridge strikes arent about military genius, theyre about optics and desperation. russia wants to look scary, like they can cut off western weapons or split ukraine in half. in reality, theyre burning through drones and missiles to hit infrastructure that gets fixed faster than they can reload. every time they try to escalate, western intel is already two steps ahead, warning about possible strikes on supply lines or even european arms factories. putin isnt dumb enough to go toe-to-toe with nato, so he sticks to the same tired hybrid war playbook, sabotage, scare tactics, and the occasional “oops, we hit a civilian target again” moment on state tv.

meanwhile, on the ground, russian troops are getting sent on suicide walks across open fields because their armored columns keep getting smoked by ukrainian drones. the only thing advancing is the grave count. even their own z bloggers are updating maps to admit theyve lost ground north of lyman, and ukraines back in luhansk, the one oblast russia managed to fully grab since 2022. the “second army of the world” is now the second army of “please dont send me to the front, ill do anything.”

the real scoreboard

so yeah, keep an eye on those bridge attacks. not because theyre game-changers, but because theyre a live feed of russian frustration. the regime is out of fresh ideas and fresh meat, so theyre lashing out at concrete and steel, hoping someone will call it a victory. meanwhile, ukraine keeps hitting back, russian logistics keep bleeding, and the only thing the kremlins really building is a highlight reel for future war crime tribunals.

the only thing russia is bridging these days is the gap between their propaganda and reality

russian victory speeches get announced from a town 600 km from the town they actually lost. those maps are doing more cardio than their conscripts. the kremlin keeps promising a new offensive, but the only thing moving forward is the line at the border for draft dodgers. every bridge they hit is just another episode in the kremlins favorite show, “look busy, the boss is watching.”
